Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware, a BluePearl Veterinary Partners hospital in New Castle, Delaware, is seeking a full time licensed Veterinarian with CCRT or CCRP certification. We are looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented clinician who will continue to grow our rehabilitation department and work with our skilled specialty team that includes a certified rehabilitation technician. We are excited to be expanding the hospital and the rehabilitation department into a beautiful 20,000 square foot building in April of 2020. Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing individualized treatment plans while communicating directly with referring veterinarians, as well as in-house specialists.
Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware, a BluePearl Veterinary Partner hospital, is the only Emergency and Specialty facility in the state. We have been serving the state of Delaware and surrounding states for 19 years. We are located between the two largest freeways in northern DE and our clientele visits us from all across Delaware, Southeastern Pennsylvania, Northern Maryland and Eastern Shore, and Southern New Jersey.
Our current 11,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility features a 16-slice CT scanner as well as all the equipment necessary to perform a full complement of orthopedic, soft tissue, ophthalmologic, and minimally invasive procedures. We also have a very active ICU staffed by two board certified criticalists with ventilator. The hospital has a large volume with a variety of cases handled by our 18 boarded clinicians and our talented nursing staff, which includes a high percentage of LVT and VTS associates.
Join our collaborative team of specialists and ER doctors. We have an active internship program in a dedicated learning environment. We also support the veterinary community by providing clinical training opportunities for the three veterinary nursing schools in the mid-Atlantic region.
